Oh my god I can’t believe it. The audience at Ibiza Rocks this Wednesday night were in awe of Lily Allen’s dramatic weight loss in her tiny outfit and general demeanour.

“this one is just for you Ibiza!”

Daughter of Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, looked in great nick as she graced the open air stage with a Spanish tan, cigarette in hand and hair in braids. Hammersmith born Lily had a charming swag about her on stage. Almost Liam Gallagher like, Lily rocked up with hits such as “Not Fair” and Christmas released bonus track “Somewhere Only We Know” which went down surprisingly well.

There was some technical sound problems on the night, however it didn’t stop Lily. After briefly explaining a problem with her earpiece, she just voiced “you probably think I’m a sh*t singer but I normally sound well better than this.” It was a perfect introduction to track “Not Fair.”

The 29-year-old singer returned to the limelight with a bang last year, after taking time out to look after her daughters with husband Sam Cooper. Lily appeared to be genuinely enjoying the Ibiza crowd as she laughed cheekily between songs and introducing her new track ‘Bass Like Home’ with “this one is just for you Ibiza!”

This Wednesday night was the first time this season we felt the buzz across the white isle for a gig. Tourists from all ages and Ibizian residents all enjoyed Lily’s performance, travelling from all around the island.

Earlier that day, after posting a picture to Instagram clearly enjoying time on a yacht, Lily was onto a winner when she shared links to buy the Ibiza Rocks tickets:

Clearly a bit worried about ticket sales, she announced her honesty policy on twitter:

The 29 year old that was infamous for wearing trainers with a dress, and probably making ‘chav’ cool, has grown up. Enough to make a return to music and compose herself when technology goes haywire. Welcome back Lily Allen – fantastic show.
